For over 40 years, Knoxville Barge, a sister company of Brownlee Construction, has been serving Fort Loudoun Lake, Tellico Lake, and the Tennessee River Valley with excellent service and quality craftsmanship. As a family-owned company, our mission is to use our experience and expertise to solve our client’s challenging marine projects regardless of scope or complexity. We leverage our skillset and knowledge to provide cost-effective and long-term solutions that exceed expectations.
Knoxville Barge was founded by Leonard and Charlie Hobson and in 1980 Joe Brownless Jr. joined the team, improving the equipment and increasing the flexibility and diversity of project capabilities. Today, we continue this legacy of commitment to excellence with a team of experts committed to providing every client with full-service marine construction and shoreline stabilization services they can count on.
